My hair doesn’t normally look this wet, or dishevelled. Taken by the very talented Pete Horrox! (also that tripod-mounted Sony ain’t mine - unfortunately.)

About the Photographer

Thank you for checking out my website and its content.

By way of introduction, my name is Matthew ‘Matt’ Jenkins (Matt is my nickname, Jenko’s my ‘street name’), and I am an active and experienced photographer based in Birmingham, UK.

Being a lover of photography as a form of art and media, my enthusiasm for learning and practice has allowed me to follow a self-taught path into the world of photography, which included many lessons, trials and tribulations!

Since I began practicing photography as a university student in 2013, my hobby has opened up several windows of opportunity, from voluntarily taking assignments for my university newspaper, to touring with musicians in Europe as a paid band photographer (twice!).

On this site you will see a varied, un-curated collection of photos - ranging from cityscapes and travel to portraits. I’m always learning and experimenting with styles of shooting and editing, but I always aim to include a certain level of depth and meaning in my photography.

If you have explored my work like what you see, and would like to get in touch to discuss collaborations or commissions, please see my contact details below.

Also, be sure to follow me on @mattagraphs through Instagram and Facebook, as this is where I tend to post the latest (and what I feel is the greatest) content.
